We here at Engadget Mobile tend to spend
a lot of way too much time poring over the latest FCC filings, be it on the net or directly on the ol' Federal Communications Commission's site. Since we couldn't possibly (want to) cover all the stuff that goes down there, we've gathered up all the raw info you may want (but probably don't need). Enjoy!

The Sanyo A5527SA is interesting. I wonder if Sanyo is planning to make it available to KDDI mobile customers in the USA? Strange that it's only approved for CDMA 800 and KDDI mobile uses Sprint which is CDMA 1900 except for Sprints raoming partners.
Still, best looking Sanyo EVER to hit USA shores if it is going to be offered by KDDI mobile. Decent enough mid-range feature set too. No EV-DO though... that sucks a bit.
For a better look then the FCC documents give of the phone:

Sanyo Mobiles raod back to profitabliity is DEFINATELY to release more phones like this one in the USA. Though preferably their EV-DO phones that are a little high up the food chain along with phones like this for people who just want a stylish phone without many bells and whistles
